Project Overview:

The development team has been actively working on upgrading our PvP mobile game to enhance its performance and extend its features for a better player experience. Two key initiatives have been undertaken: upgrading the web3 server to API v2 and transitioning the game from Photon Quantum 2 to Photon Quantum 3.

Upgrade of Web3 Server to API v2:

The primary focus has been on upgrading our web3 server to API v2. This upgrade involves a meticulous process of migrating data from the old server to the new one. By doing so, we aim to leverage the latest advancements in web3 technology, ensuring improved security, scalability, and efficiency. Additionally, this upgrade lays the foundation for integrating new features seamlessly into the game framework, enhancing its overall functionality and user engagement.

Transition to Photon Quantum 3:

Simultaneously, the development team is in the process of migrating the game from Photon Quantum 2 to Photon Quantum 3. This transition is vital for enhancing game performance and providing more flexibility to extend its features in the future. Photon Quantum 3 offers improved networking capabilities, better synchronisation, and advanced customization options, enabling us to optimise the gameplay experience and accommodate future updates and expansions more efficiently.

Progress and Next Steps:

Web3 Server Upgrade: The migration of data from the old server to the new API v2 server is underway. Significant progress has been made in transferring essential data while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing gameplay.

Photon Quantum 3 Transition: The development team has initiated the process of transitioning the game to Photon Quantum 3. Initial testing and integration efforts have been successful, highlighting the potential for improved performance and scalability.

Next Steps: The team will continue to focus on completing the migration of data to the new web3 server and refining the integration of Photon Quantum 3 into the game framework. Additionally, comprehensive testing and optimization will be conducted to ensure a smooth transition and to address any potential challenges or issues.

Conclusion:

The upgrade of our PvP game’s web3 server to API v2 and the transition to Photon Quantum 3 represent significant milestones in our ongoing efforts to enhance the game’s performance and extend its features. These initiatives underscore our commitment to delivering a compelling and immersive gaming experience while embracing the latest advancements in technology. We remain dedicated to ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs and expectations of our player community.

B: Business Development & Marketing

Galaxy Fight Club is now available on Metapro.

Metapro is a platform connecting gamers & game developers and we’re happy to announce that GFC is now an official partner and available on their platform.

Our listing on Metapro has even been shared by @BSC_Highlights and others on Twitter.

This is just one of many upcoming activations we’ve been working on.

Additionally, we’re also working on new IP-Integrations. Considering the amount of high-tier partner integration of the past years, it is becoming harder to find NFT IPs that are both of significance and also work well in a cross-IP game like GFC.

Nevertheless, we found some great fits and even have a little preview of one of our upcoming partnerships -

Currently, the plan is to roll out two new NFT partnerships & integrations throughout the month of May, so stay tuned!

This past week was also the week of Token2049.

Yas joined in on the action and attended most of the relevant conference activities & side events like the Rug Radio, Pudgy Penguins and Animoca Brands events.

We managed to reconnect with a lot of our early supporters and friends who stuck to us since the very beginning as well as a lot of early VCs who participated in our tokensale like YGGSEA / IVC, Animoca and more.

It’s great to see that a lot of our early supporters still believe in our vision and are open to continue supporting us on our mission.

We also used this chance to start working on another important aspect of branding / brand perception and marketing for relevant projects in web3 — our personal brands.

As founders, it is important to stand out, innovate and stay top of mind, which is one of the reasons we continuously try to be present across various activities like twitter spaces and founder networks.

Now we are taking it a step further and branching out into a new vertical of content creation on Yas’ personal profile, creating a mix of value based and entertaining content. Thanks to his connections in the space it is not as challenging to get a hold of top thought leaders and influencers in the space, especially during events like Token2049.

This makes for great content to drive traffic and attention back to our project and any new releases in the future.
