Hoodie Merchandise Sale: Concluded sale, raising 27,500 $GCOIN, which will be burnt to reduce supply.
$GCOIN Emissions Cut: Announced the end of Gen 1 yield emissions for May 16th, 2024, aiming to enhance token value.
Seedify Event Participation: Confirmed participation in Seedify’s Space, highlighting upcoming projects and GFC’s roadmap.

c) Community

Challenger Tournament: Organized a tournament with web2 esports teams from Latin America, aiming to widen player base and engagement.
Tournament Streaming: Broadcasted event on Twitch, featuring gameplay and attracting viewership.
Instagram Promotion: Shared exclusive reel of DOTA2 gamer, leveraging social media for broader exposure.
Tournament Prizes: Distributed $900 in total prizes to top 5 teams, fostering competitive spirit.
Future Tournaments Planning: Preparing for more events with both new and existing partners to maintain community engagement and growth.

A: Game and Web 3 Development

Improved Game Visuals

Our artists continue to work on improving game visuals, and have produced in-game character models based on the concepts we shared in the last update.

Progress:

Completed models: Beast, Ogre, Reptar, Glopz
In progress: Female Human, Alien
Fixed weapon handling of all characters, by limiting the occurrence of errors such as weapon piercing through the body, and/or character’s head being too big.
Fixed the bug which caused the character being torn during animation.

New Sci-fi PvP Arena

We have finalised on the new sci-fi map and it will be available in the next upcoming update.

Amour System

The Amour System will be introduced in the near future. The visuals will be significantly improved, thanks to the renewal of GFC characters. The included accessories will also be remade with higher image quality.

Head: Fedora, Knitted Orange Cap, Traffic Cone, Sailor’s Cap, Headband, Beanie, Party Hat
Eyes: 3D Glasses, X-eyes

GFC Official Marketplace

We have created a dedicated marketplace for trading GFC assets with GCOIN (only for assets on Polygon). The new marketplace provides a better experience and you can find all of GFC’s NFT collection there.

Internal Systems — Admin Tool

The introduction of an admin tool in game development backend features is a pivotal addition that empowers administrators to efficiently manage various aspects of the game environment. This tool provides administrators with a comprehensive interface to monitor and moderate player activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable gaming experience for all users.

Key functionalities of the admin tool include:

Player Management: Administrators can view player profiles, access player data, and manage accounts. This includes the ability to issue warnings, suspend or ban players, and track player behaviour.
Content Moderation: The admin tool enables moderators to review and moderate user-generated content such as chat messages, forum posts, or in-game content. This helps maintain a respectful and inclusive gaming community by filtering out inappropriate or offensive material.
Cheat Detection and Prevention: Through advanced detection algorithms and monitoring systems, administrators can detect and take action against cheaters, hackers, and exploiters. The admin tool provides tools for investigating suspicious activities and enforcing fair play policies.
Server Management: Administrators have control over server settings, including server configurations, maintenance schedules, and performance monitoring. This ensures smooth and reliable gameplay experiences for all players.
Community Engagement: The admin tool facilitates communication with the gaming community through announcements, surveys, and feedback channels. Administrators can gather insights from players and address their concerns to improve the overall gaming experience.

B: Business Development & Marketing

Our official GFC — The Origins comic is ready!

We have now ordered a couple of samples of our comic book before opening up the application form to our community.

The comic will be limited in supply and Battle Pass holders will be able to claim the equivalent amount of comics as Battle Passes they hold.

Of course, our community will have the opportunity to also get their hands on the comic on a FCFS basis.

We will share an announcement as soon as we have reviewed the samples in order for you to claim your comic books!

Galaxy Fight Club is going Esports!!!

This past weekend, we invited several groups of professional Esports players to participate in our tournament.

The resonance has been fantastic and they seem to really enjoy the game.

We are looking forward to deepening the relationship with these players and also taking their feedback to heart, especially regarding their gaming experience and potential ways to improve GFC and make it more viable for competitive play.

For the time of the tournament, all these gamers shared relevant information and gameplay footage of GFC on their social media across platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Twitter.

The hoodie sale is now closed.

We received 11 orders for the hoodie, amounting to 27,500 $GCOIN. The GCOIN collected will be burnt, reducing the circulating supply of GCOIN even further.

All GCOIN emissions to Gen 1 yield will end on May 16th, 2024 and you can expect more initiatives to be launched as we approach this date.

C: Community

GFC Challenger Tournament

We had a unique tournament last weekend. We invited pro esports web2 teams from Latin America for this special event to get more exposure in web2 and therefore more players.
