b) Business Development & Marketing

• GFC Comic Book (Almost Here!): The highly anticipated GFC comic book is nearing completion! If you’re a Battlepass owner, you’ll get your hands on it for free. Don’t have a Battlepass? Worry not! A limited number will be available for purchase with GCOIN. Gear up for an immersive story that dives deep into the GFC universe.
• Mod Team Reunion: We’re thrilled to welcome Bekas back to the Mod team! Join the unstoppable trio of MadSlasher, Xeno, and Bekas as they keep our Discord community thriving and ensure a fair and fun experience for all.
• Sales Bot Levels Up: Our Sales Bot is now a master tracker! It can now monitor sales on both OpenSea and Blur, giving you a comprehensive overview of the GFC market activity.

• Tournament Trophy Hunt: The GFC Trophy Hunt Tournament has concluded, and we’re cheering for all the valiant participants! Check out the top 10 winners and their well-deserved prizes.
• Honorary Fighter Spotlight: We shine a light on Touplux, our first ever Honorary Fighter! Recognized for their unwavering support and contributions to the community, Touplux receives a prestigious GEN1 NFT as a token of our appreciation.
• Pro Players Enter the Ring: Get ready for an electrifying tournament featuring pro web2 esports teams from Latin America! Witness their skills as they clash in the GFC arena, bringing even more hype and exposure to our community. Stay tuned for the official tournament rules!

A: Game and Web 3 Development

Improved Game Visuals

Currently, our Artists team is working on improving the visual of the characters and the upcoming Amour system.

Here are some of the changes:

Update every GFC fighter character in the new body ratio. The Human character will come first then Female followed by the remaining characters of GFC.

The visual improvement of armour traits was created based on the previous models and therefore doesn’t have an effect on the new models.

Adjust the body ratio of character models of other collections such as GFC Gen2, Animetas, Bayc. Currently, these collections have been calibrated to hold the weapons better, with only fewer errors appearing. Here are some examples:

Furthermore, in the upcoming update, there will be a new arena map, replacing the current Sci-fi map. The new map will be a bit wider, and will be more visually optimised.

B: Marketing

GFC-Comic?! Yes, you heard correctly!

Our official GFC comic book is almost here. We’re finalising the last edits with our artist in order to have them ready for shipping by the end Q1.

This has been in the making for a while and we are excited to finally have the opportunity to roll this out to our community.

Battlepass owners get ready for this incredible experience of having this unique piece in your hands.

Not a Battlepass owner? Don’t worry, we will open up a limited number of Comics to be open for purchase for GCOIN.

We’d also like to use this dev blog to welcome Bekas back to our Mods team!

Bekas is a true GFC-OG community member and he took a break from the Mod-involvement a few months ago.

We always wanted to welcome him back, so we’re happy that this day has finally come!

We are now back to 3 Mods:

• MadSlasher
• Xeno
• Bekas

They have been instrumental to our progress, community and safety on Discord.

Xeno has recently helped us update our Sales Bot.

Our Sales Bot now includes sales on Blur, whereas our previous Sales Bot only detected any sales made on OpenSea.

MagicSquare has once again put a spotlight on GFC and given a brief review, uploaded on Twitter!

Currently, we are sitting at a 4.66 star (out of 5) rating on their AppStore.

We are happy to have been re-verified on their platform and are exploring opportunities of further collaboration together with MagicSquare.

Furthermore, we have now given our community the opportunity to purchase our notorious GFC Hoodie.

Many community members have reported that our hoodies are some of, if not the best when it comes to the quality of merch in web3.

C: Community

GFC Trophy Hunt Tournament
The prize pool was set in 300 $MATIC + NFTs + Keys. The tournament started January 16th and ended on January 29th. These are the 10 winners.

Honorary Fighter
We’d like to announce that we’ll periodically choose a GFC community member and reward their support. We believe that those helping the community grow with advice, solutions and assisting others in our Discord or any other social media platform deserve recognition. In addition, Honorary Fighters will have a higher chance to become a Mod if it’s needed. With this being said, we’d like to name Touplux as the first Honorary Fighter.

Please congratulate him on this great achievement! And as a token of appreciation a GEN1 will be given to him.

Next tournament

We’re preparing something special for our next tournament. We have invited some pro web2 esports teams from Latin America (DOTA2, TFT, etc) to participate in this event. Our idea is to get more exposure in web2, therefore, these teams will be streaming and sharing GFC content on their social media.
