Halloween Event Rewards 2023: Players who won 20–40 matches in the Halloween Event are rewarded with the “Pumpkin Head” skin, while those winning 60–80 matches receive the “Straw Man” skin, both as permanent additions.

Section C: Community

New Year’s Melee Weapons Tournament: Organized a tournament to test new melee weapons, charging 1000 $GCOIN as entry fee, with half being burned and the remainder distributed among winners, providing practical use for the GCOIN token.
GFC Trophy Hunting Tournament: Introduction of a tournament coinciding with the trophy leaderboard reset, offering a prize pool of 300 $MATIC, NFTs, and Keys, set to run from January 16th to 29th, with registration requiring Discord ID and wallet address.
AKCB Partnership and Trophy Tournament: Over 75 AKCB community members engaged in the Trophy Hunting Tournament, highlighting the successful integration of AKCB into the GFC community and game.
Future Tournament Teaser: Announcement of plans for a unique format in the upcoming GFC tournament, generating excitement and anticipation within the community.

A: Game and Web 3 Development

Halloween Reward 2023

We decided to reward the players who participated in the Halloween Event 2023 with a small gift:

The players who have won between 20 and 40 matches in Event Halloween will receive skin Pumpkin Head as a permnent item
Players who have won between 60 and 80 matches in Event Halloween will receive skin Straw Man with permanent term

New UI Theme

We have changed the topic of UI to inspire new players, here are a few notable changes

Improve Visual of Game

Our art team is working to soon improve the visual of the characters and soon activate the amour system. Changes include:
Refresh the entire GFC character in the new body ratio, of which the first priority is GFC Male, Female and the remaining characters of GFC. Let’s see the characters remade below:

Improve the visual of the Amour traits based on the previous models but have not activated.

Adjust the body ratio of character models of partner collections such as GFC Gen2, Animetas, Bayc and others
For characters with the ratio and shape of the model which are different to the human body, those will be remade to be more similar to the human body ratio. For example, Glopz, Kaiju Kingz, Fancy Birds, … This will ensure the visual of the game is less faulty compared to before due to different body ratio when equipping a weapon.

Project T

We are researching and referencing strategy games to edit the design of Project T. Both in terms of gameplay and interface.

Buildings:

The buildings will remain the same as the original design, the number of buildings can be reduced. For example, weapon production buildings can be combined into 1 or 2 buildings
The houses where NPCs can live have also been reduced in number. Currently, there are 10 buildings for NPCs to live in, which is too many, not to mention the houses for soldiers.

Redesigning all buildings:

There is more, but we unfortunately have to hold off from sharing more at this point to leave room for surprises!

B: Business Development & Marketing

What’s a new year without some new competitors in the colosseum?!

We are kicking off the new year on a strong note by welcoming ACKB (A Kid Called Beast) to our game.

We hosted a trophy run for their community with over 75 AKCB members actively participating right from the getgo and even more registrations.

AKCB has been absolutely killing it since the partnership announcement and we’re looking forward to a long lasting partnership!

Last but certainly not least, we are happy to share that our character is now also playable on NiftyIsland. Of course we chose our one and only gladiator to join to represent GFC within their game to it’s fullest!

C: Community

New Year’s tournament.

We had a big weapon update last month, so we allowed our community to try the new changes using melee weapons. We saw some weapons that were overpowered so those will be taken into account for the next tournament with similar restrictions. As like in our last tournaments, we decided to charge a GCOIN entrance fee in order to participate, in this case it was 1000 $GCOIN. Half of it was burnt and the other half was distributed between the winners of the tournament. The idea of using GCOIN as an entrance fee is to give more uses to our token.

GFC trophy hunting tournament

We reset the trophy leaderboard this month, so along with this in-game event, we decided to run a tournament to reward the top 10 players that accumulate more trophies in the span of two weeks. Our aim is to hold these tournaments every time the leaderboard is reset, but

the rewards and conditions for each tournament will vary.

On this occasion, the prize pool is set in 300 $MATIC + NFTs + Keys. The tournament started on the 16th of January and will end on the 29th of January.
In order to participate, every player must fill out a form where they must share their Discord ID and their wallet address to avoid abuses.

AKCB partnership and Trophy Hunting Tournament

We’re more than happy to see a lot of Beasts in our Discord and enjoying the Galaxy Fight Club game. We have more than 75 AKCB members participating in the Trophy Hunting Tournament.
