c) Community

Christmas Event Success: Our Christmas mini-event was a blast, with participants earning gold key fragments as rewards.
Leaderboard Reset and Trophy Hunt Tournament: To celebrate our first leaderboard reset of the year, we’re hosting a Trophy Hunt Tournament with fantastic rewards for top players.
Bi-weekly Tournaments: We’re organizing two tournaments this month. The entry fee is in GCOIN, and we’re spicing things up by burning half of the total GCOIN pool, while the rest goes to the winners.
Weapon Library Launch: Keep an eye out for our upcoming series of short video clips showcasing all Genesis, P2E, and free in-game GFC weapons.

A: Game and Web 3 Development

New Matchmaker System

We’ve developed a proprietary matchmaking system, complete with ticket allocation, queues, and player pools.

When a player launches the game, the game client authenticates using the Authentication Server.
Once the player has selected their game parameters (such as game mode), the game client creates and sends a matchmaking ticket to the Matchmaker service.
The Matchmaker matches the ticket with other players’ tickets and requests a game server allocation from the Game Server Hosting service to host the match.
Game Server Hosting allocates the best server available and forwards information to the MatchMaker.
Once the server is allocated, Matchmaker updates the ticket with the connection information IP and Port, then sent to each player.
The game client receives ticket information, connects to the server and joins the match.

NFT metadata validation

We’ve reworked the NFT metadata validation within our game system. This upgrade has not only made the validation process more reliable and faster but has also integrated advanced anti-cheat mechanisms. These improvements are pivotal in maintaining the integrity of NFT transactions within our game, providing a secure and seamless experience for players involved in NFT-based activities.

Asset bundle system

The asset bundle system has undergone a major overhaul. This rework focuses on accelerating both the game updating process and the integration of event-specific updates. The new system is designed to streamline the deployment of new content, ensuring that players have access to the latest features and updates with minimal delay. This enhancement is a game-changer in how we manage and deliver game content, ensuring our players always have something new and exciting to look forward to.

All new GFC Character Models

To minimise visual errors when running animations in the game, we decided to remake all the characters in the game. First, with the GFC characters.

GFC characters will be completely refreshed, their body proportions will be better than previous versions. That will ensure that when running animations, possible errors will be minimised. It also increases the recognition of the game. The new characters will feature the Galaxy universe.

New Animation System

To refresh and create more excitement for players, the character animation system will be changed. From now on, with each type of weapon, when attacking, you will continuously change attack positions. For example below:

For each normal attack, the character will have 2 to 3 attack types. With the ultimate skill, it will depend on the characteristics of each weapon to decide whether to use 1 or 2 attack types.

As we entered the new year, our giveaway for the limited edition Monopoly board game has concluded.

C: Community

Community report:

We hosted a mini event of matches during Christmas with gold key fragments as rewards.

What’s coming:

Reset of the leaderboard. This month we’ll have the first reset of the year and to celebrate this event we’ll be hosting a Trophy Hunt Tournament with rewards for the top players
Bi-weekly tournaments: We’ll be hosting two tournaments this month. The first tournament will be with lower points and with a GCOIN entrance fee (no tiers involved). Half of the total GCOIN will be burnt and the other half will be given back to the winners of the tournament.
The weapon library will be ready this month. It will be a series of short video clips showcasing all Genesis, P2E and free in-game GFC weapons. Including their damage, basic skill, weapon skill and ultimate effect.
