A: Game and Web 3 Development

Project T

With the development of Battle Royale game mode coming to an end, we are going to start on our new big feature soon.

We are calling it “Project T”, can’t share much information about it yet but it involves a brand new collection of NFTs and GCOIN as the in-game currency.

Currently, the project is at its starting phase but some of the ideas have already been tested out, even some of the smart contracts controlling the core logic have been written and in testing.

We will reveal more details on the project in the coming weeks and hopefully you guys are as excited as we are for this new feature! LFG

Battle Royale

The Battle Royale mode has just been upgraded with graphics: more details in the map, new round border effects. Currently the number of players we have been testing is 8 players but we are testing with the 10 players version at the same time, in parallel between PC and mobile to test the performance and optimise the system in the game play.

BYOPills

The BYOPill system with the cooldown system has been thoroughly integrated and tested, everything works smoothly. We will launch BYOPill in the next update and continue to monitor the system to ensure that the features work perfectly.

The private chat system is complete and we are working on the public chat channel like global channel, guild channel, tournament channel etc…

B: Business Development & Marketing

As mentioned within our previous biweekly update, we started working on new YouTube content together with a YouTube SEO expert.

Since then, we published our first SEO ranked video which we have ranked for the longtail keyword ‘Cyberkongz Play To Earn Video’, to validate our strategy.

We have received some feedback from the community, which we will take into consideration moving forward:

  • Less ‘scripted’ approach
  • More interpretation / opinions on individual points
  • Opinionated assumptions to ‘hints’ found in the documents covered
  • More engaging editing
  • Higher energy

With this feedback in mind, we will be aiming for publishing 1–2 additional videos each month and rank them for individual longtail keywords revolving around our industry.

Alongside the improvements to our YouTube video content, we also took the community feedback into consideration regarding our current GFC tournament streams. We decided to scout for new high quality streamers with high energy and conviction to help us stream our upcoming tournaments.

The goal will not only be to stream our tournaments in the highest quality possible but also repurpose the content generated by those for our organic content strategy across various platforms — starting with YouTube.

Furthermore, we joined SuperChamps for an interesting Twitter Space about the future of web3. To listen back to the replay, feel free to use the following link — https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1jMJgLEndNqxL?s=20

We are also working on Gen 1 visual revamp, once all the traits have been completed we will be giving holders the option to upgrade their Gen 1 visuals, this new style is aimed to better resemble the actual fighters in the game. We believe his is a good time to offer this upgrade as we are close to integrating traits and armour into the in-game characters

13 Point Event

ZIllenials continue to dominate the arena taking down another event with AFT hanging tough but ultimately not able to get the job done. 7 Point Event

Makima made a triumphant return to the arena and took down first place with another strong showing from Zen and Degen Guilds. Strong showing from Dusk2Dawn who is scratching at the top 3 looking to break though to the podium. This was a very fun event with lots of different weapon combinations. Ultimately it was a flashback to Makima and also to the glory days of the candy gun that held opponents in check.
